TailsArrival StoryI ran away from my last owner and was found by the dog shelter a couple days later. I was in there for a while with my crazy roommate. One day, three adults and a little girl walked into the dog shelter, and I immediately ran up to the fence and begged for them to take me. They looked at a batch of baby golden retrievers first, and then an older golden retriever. They finally got to where I was, and my current family's neighbor pointed me out and told them that I would be a good choice. I was so happy! They took me home for five dollars and gave me some food, bought me some necessary stuff (brushes, shampoo, bones, collars, leashes, etc.), and took me to a place to give me a bath. I have lived with them ever since. The other name they considered for me (that I remember) was Mickey. *shudder* I'm glad they didn't choose that one!
